Being family-run since we set out, we know how precious family time is – and how it’s always, unfortunately, in short supply. Ashley and Jo Boxall, parents to two little ones, created and today manage Herons Mead with an unrelenting family focus – for the perfect backdrop for making those precious memories.
“Herons Mead is a beautiful Mobile home and Fishing site. In a countryside setting with a pleasant wood and two ponds. It is the ideal way to relax and chill out”.
– John Nally
Herons Mead has been heralded for its wonderful wildlife – so much so that our nature has been recognised with a prestigious David Bellamy award, while the Fish Matrix Coarse & Match Fishing TV station created their most recent video with us.
Cast off in either one of our two well stocked fishing lakes, where you’ll uncover carp, tench, rudd and roach, and if you’re visiting from June onwards you’ll be treated to a majestic display of waterlilies and clouds of synchronised dragonfly.
Despite the views, the wildlife and the rural way of life, we’re just 300 seconds away from The Ingoldmells Resort – a vibrant centre where the thrilling Fantasy Island Theme Park awaits; where the Tiny Tots Indoor Playground entertains kiddies on mass, and where stall holders set up shop at Ingoldmells Market – where seaside sellers tout their traditional wears, from rock to postcards. You see, our picturesque setting is full of surprises, and is perfectly placed for action-packed days out, while evenings can be defined by peaceful walks and wine sat under a clear night sky of stars.
We’re a proudly pet- and planet-friendly, family-run eco-park – with a love for nature, a passion for over-the-moon guests and a commitment to providing all the modern amenities that you’d expect from a luxury park, including high quality toilets, showers and a laundry room.
A peaceful paradise close to the coast, nestled into the Lincolnshire countryside (and yet a mere five minutes’ drive away from the hustling bustling Ingoldmells Resort).
"Enjoyed a wonderful weekend in one of the lodges with hot tub. Staff are friendly and food from The Hide was amazing. Beautiful place to sit and relax with added bonus of being able to take our fur babies."
-- Gemma Simpson
